Setting Up an Integration

Create Account with Provider

Sign up for an account with your chosen pricing tool (PriceLabs, Wheelhouse, etc.).

Navigate to Integrations

In Boom PMS, go to Settings > Integrations > Pricing Tools.

Connect Your Account

Click "Connect" next to your pricing tool and authenticate with your credentials.

Map Properties

Link your Boom properties to the corresponding listings in the pricing tool.

Configure Settings

Set your base rates, minimum/maximum rates, and sync preferences.

Enable Sync

Activate the integration to start receiving rate recommendations.

How Dynamic Pricing Works

Rate Flow

  1. Pricing tool analyzes market data and demand
  2. Tool generates recommended rates for each date
  3. Rates are pushed to Boom PMS via API
  4. Boom PMS validates rates against your min/max settings
  5. Approved rates sync to all connected booking channels

Sync Frequency

Most integrations update rates multiple times daily:

  • Scheduled Updates - Every 4-6 hours
  • Event Triggers - When significant demand changes occur
  • Manual Sync - On-demand refresh available

Configuration Options

Rate Bounds

  • Minimum Rate - Floor price the tool cannot go below
  • Maximum Rate - Ceiling price the tool cannot exceed
  • Base Rate - Starting point for price calculations

Sync Options

  • Auto-Approve - Automatically accept all rate changes
  • Review Required - Manually approve significant changes
  • Override Protection - Prevent manual edits from being overwritten

Pro Tips

Set Realistic Bounds
Your minimum rate should cover costs plus a margin. Maximum should reflect the highest price the market would reasonably pay for your property.
Give It Time
Dynamic pricing tools learn from your booking patterns. Allow 2-4 weeks for the system to calibrate before judging effectiveness.
Avoid Conflicts
Only use one dynamic pricing integration per property. Multiple tools sending competing rates will cause sync conflicts.
